Here is the new 2016 promo video for our mime and music fairytale The Greatest Thing

Last summer, we – mime artist Silent Rocco and musician/performer Miss Walker – were touring all over Europe to perform our neo-fairytale ‘The Greatest Thing’ at various music and street theater festivals. Sometimes we managed to put up a camera to record our shows. And after many hours in the editing room, we can now present you the 2016 promo trailer for The Greatest Thing. Enjoy!

Mime artists from Berlin performing as human robots for Lenovo at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona

After successfully performing for Lenovo at IFA in Berlin, our robot act got immediately booked again. This time, we flew to Spain to the GSMA Mobile World Congress (short MWC), the biggest and most important trade fair for the mobile industry with 2200 exhibitors and more than 100.000 visitors. At the booth of Lenovo, our MENSCHINE robots promoted the Lenovo Apps – mobile software solutions for smartphones and tablets – and became an attraction, be it on stage, among the visitors or in social networks.

MENSCHINE robot performance at press conference on ARD’s television theme week “Future of Work”

Once a year, German national television broadcast family ARD organizes and produces a themed week. After “Unlike You Think” (2014) and “Homeland” (2015), they chose “Future of Work” as their topic for 2016. From October 31st to November 5th, the ARD aired countless shows, documentaries, feature films and various accompanying productions revolving around the future of work. Some weeks before that, a press conference was organized to introduce the theme and some specific projects to the public. Our MENSCHINE robot was booked for this event to welcome all invitees and to make the future literally tangible.

Robot artist from Berlin in Britney’s delightfully crazy music video for their new song “Hallo Frosch”

Britney is the new band of Cologne-based musicians Oliver Minck and Jeon-Il Sin. Their latest song is called “Hallo Frosch” (Eng: hello frog) and the dadaistic title alone indicates that this is not your average classic pop song. So, director Michael Klich went to the rehearsal cellar of Berlin’s famous Chamäleon variety and gathered a bunch of kids and many performing artists, and he equipped them with beautiful masks from Smirk Masks. Our MENSCHINE robot act was also part of this colourful crew. And here is the final video. Enjoy!
